I dont think it's a question in society anymore. Exactly. People should just let it happen. It's natural to be atttacted. Why force yourself to not do act on it because of backlash from the rest of the repressed who can't admit that they've gotten excited over a family member. As long as it's consensual and you don't reproduce with someone too genetically close like you said, it's perfectly fine.

Agree. Hate to be a stickler for details here, but he didn't say, "don't reproduce", but "try not to reproduce".
If a child is born from an incestuous relationship, there are often good indicators that it won't necessarily be mentally impaired, but rather have a slightly elevated risk of other defects of a purely physical nature.
At least based on everything that I've read on the subject over the years.
